How to get the private ip details in RAC database.

There are different ways to get the private ip details. One of the way is through gv$cluster_interconnects view. You can run this on any one of the node.

Eg:-

$ sqlplus / as sysdba

SQL*Plus: Release 11.2.0.1.0 Production on Tue Apr 23 03:33:35 2013

Copyright (c) 1982, 2009, Oracle. All rights reserved.
Connected to:
Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.1.0 – 64bit Production

SQL> select * from V$CLUSTER_INTERCONNECTS;

NAME IP_ADDRESS IS_ SOURCE
————— —————- — ——————————-
eth2 10.196.12.193 NO Oracle Cluster Repository

SQL> select * from GV$CLUSTER_INTERCONNECTS;

INST_ID NAME IP_ADDRESS IS_ SOURCE
———- ————— —————- — ——————————-
2 eth2 10.196.12.193 NO Oracle Cluster Repository
1 eth2 10.196.12.192 NO Oracle Cluster Repository
